December 23–26, 2007: Explore teachings and practices from the heart of Jewish mystical wisdom and discover the rich inner landscape of your soul.
The word “kabbalah” is derived from the Hebrew root "to receive." The Kabbalists are spiritual warriors who dedicate their lives to becoming truly receptive. They yearn to expand and transform themselves into wisdom vessels of universal consciousness. Through contemplation and study, they strive to reawaken the soul’s ability to perceive with unbounded awareness and by so doing, reach their full human potential. Why? Because living in growing awareness is the path to repair and heal the inner and the collective world.
Come learn new practices that cultivate deep seeing, awareness, peace, and joy. Rabbi Sigal Brier, a student of yoga and holistic life style for 25 years, will use text study, meditation, chanting, self-inquiry, group discussion, and sharing to help you access wisdom and deepen your connection to the soul. Her holistic approach combines cognitive, affective, and physical methods of self-attunement to develop an internal sense of divinity and open to higher consciousness and teaches modes of living that support these goals.
